Support CAMERA (Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America)
CAMERA, is a non-profit media-monitoring and research organization. It is devoted to promoting accurate and balanced coverage of Israel and the Middle East. The group was founded in 1982 to respond to the Washington Post’s coverage of Israel’s Lebanon incursion, and to respond to what it considers the media’s general anti-Israel bias.
CAMERA releases reports to counter frequently inaccurate and skewed characterizations of Israel and of events in the Middle East that may fuel anti-Israel and anti-Jewish prejudice. The group mobilizes protests against unfair media coverage by issuing full-page ads in newspapers, organizing demonstrations, and encouraging sponsors to withhold funds. CAMERA has over 65,000 paying members and that 46 news outlets have issued corrections based on their work.
